Job summary

Subic Bay Freeport Grain Terminal Services Inc. is seeking a healthcare professional to provide first aid and medical services to employees on site in the Philippines.

The role includes implementing health and safety programs, coordinating medical exams, and ensuring a safe sickbay, records compliance, and adherence to health standards across facilities. The incumbent will collaborate with PHSD and DOLE on illness and accident reports, promote wellness initiatives, and oversee pre-employment

Responsibilities

• Provide basic healthcare and first aid services to employees.
• Develop and implement workplace health and safety programs.
• Provide emergency medical treatment when necessary.
• Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications in accordance with applicable guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable sickbay area.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee injuries and illnesses.
• Promote employee health through regular health checks and wellness programs.
• Organize and coordinate employees’ annual physical examinations.
• Coordinate with PHSD and DOLE regarding illness and accident reports.
• Promote and enforce workplace health and safety policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with established safety procedures and standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping in all work areas.
• Monitor the canteen’s compliance with applicable health and safety standards and SBMA requirements.
• Coordinate pre-employment medical examinations and drug testing for new employees.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
