Job summary

STMicroelectronics in the Philippines is seeking an engineer to introduce and optimize End of Line (DTFS) processes in assembly manufacturing, supporting new product development and meeting quality targets within ST standards. Qualifications

• For DTFS, experience in EOL process for new product development is required.
• Experience proliferating DTFS to high-volume manufacturing.
• Liaise with material suppliers and equipment vendors for new materials/techs.
• Prepare reports and DOE evaluations, assessments and specs.
• Support plant-wide DTFS issues and cost/quality initiatives.

YOUR ROLE

This Position Carries Responsibility For Introducing Optimum End Of Line Process In Assembly Manufacturing, In Support Of New Product Development; Ensuring Quality Standards Of The New Product Being Developed, Meeting Target Milestones Or Maturity, And Operating Within The Defined Budget , Resources And ST Standards. Specifically, This Position Requires The Engineer Or Equivalent Professional Experience In DTFS To

• Perform and Evaluate EOL process for new product and package development, Focus on DTFS.
• Proliferate newly developed End of Line DTFS process to high volume manufacturing;
• Liaise with materials supplier and equipment vendors to scout for new materials and technologies.
• Prepare reports and documentation for DOE evaluations, assessments, analysis results, qualification and specifications;
• Support the plant wide activities and resolution of issues pertaining to EOL DTFS process.
• Lead projects for plant wide initiatives like cost reduction and quality improvements.

Your Skills & Experiences

• Graduate of Engineering degree in the field of Electronics, Mechanical, etc., or at least with seven (7) years professional experience in DTFS preferably with FICO System expertise.
• With working experience on End of Line process such as DTFS with basic knowledge at Mold and Laser Marking. Familiar with Singulation Blade and Laser Marking technology;
• Knowledgeable in Statistical Tools, DOE and data analysis
• Must have excellent problem solving and decision‑making abilities and documentation.
• Good interpersonal skills and can communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Team Player with ability to lead a group. Willing to work on shifts.
• Certificates - Proficiency in WB equipment operation certification (e.g. ASM, KNS equipment), DMAIC methodology , Yellow/ Brown/ Green Belt certified is advantage.
