Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines to develop the Quality System for New Products and changes from component to assembly within the Product Development team. You will lead AQP activities, drive risk mitigation, audit NPI projects, and ensure effective implementation of control plans for NPI shipments, supplier development, and management.

The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience in

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Quality control experience in cable assembly / connector / Socket or relevant industry.
Understand ISO9001 quality system.
Be good at SPC, FMEA, MSA, and 7-QC tools.
Experienced in Statistical Process control techniques.
Understand GD&T definition and requirements.
Be good at APQP procedure and requirements.
Be familiar with EIA-364 test procedures.

Responsibilities

Organize and facilitate Design Review (DR) and DFMEA reviews.
Implement quality planning and controls for prototype/sample builds and manage build records and documents.
Complete measurement system analysis for inspection systems and gages used for the project.
Review and analyze samples, quality issues and improvement actions during development stage.
Drive design verification before design freeze and product qualification testing before Gate5.
Conduct and analyze process capability studies for CTAR in tool and production line contexts.
Implement quality controls and documentation for production shop front.
Monitor process capability and oversee corrective actions.
Review and approve measurement and cosmetic inspection.
Support customer and quality system audits as required.
