Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in Laguna, Philippines seeks an NPI Quality Engineer to manage manufacturing site deliverables for new product introductions. You will coordinate quality planning, participate in gate reviews, and ensure readiness for launches with evidence-based documentation.

The role requires five years of quality engineering experience, strong communication, and expertise in APQP tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, and SPC to support product launches and process controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
• Minimum five years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing
• Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability
• Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools and NPI program management
• Proficiency with 8D problem solving methods (Is-Is Not, Fishbone, 3x5 Why)
• Knowledge of quality tools (Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and product life cycle requirements

Responsibilities

• Liaison for Advanced Quality Planning activities with internal teams and program management
• Ensure product specifications comply for sample shipment
• Support PQP delivered from quality program management
• Support PFMEA to meet functional specs and confirm controls in the Control Plan
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on Poke Yoke strategy and controls in the Control Plan
• Confirm site readiness for launching programs and product/process changes
• Attend launch program meetings and customer process reviews/audits
• Develop production process Control Plan, CTQ and Safe Launch Plan and maintain until production start
• Monitor FA part approval of supplied components
• Conduct gate reviews to verify MRM activities and readiness evidence
• Ensure MSA studies and Gage R&R for launches are performed
