Job summary

STMicroelectronics Calamba Plant is seeking a Direct Material Qualification professional to support continuity of supply and material cost reduction. You will manage qualification runs across assembly, testing, and monitoring, coordinate line stress activities, and ensure timely progression of qualification lots.

Qualifications

• BS Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Material, Chemical or Computer.
• At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

• Computer literate (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute Engg Qualification Runs from start to finish (Asy, Test, Rel Monitoring).
• Purchase and prepare needed materials for quals; request allocation for equipment and metrologies in lines.
• Lead preparation and coordination of Line Stress runs with Operations.
• Attend all issues hampering successful completion of the qualification lots.
• Prepare key updates in material Cost Reduction forums on project status.

YOUR ROLE

To take part in the Direct Material Qualification activities and projects to support Supply Chain Continuity and Material Cost Reduction objective of Calamba Plant and BEM. You will be expected to perform the ff:

• 1. Preparation and Execution of Engg Qualification Runs from start to finish (Assy, Test , and Rel Monitoring)
• 2. Purchase and preparation of needed materials for the quals . Also include request for allocation for the equipment and metrologies in the manufacturing lines
• 3. Lead the preparation and coordination of the Line Stress runs with Operations
• 4. Attend all issue hampering successful completion of the qualification lots
• 5. Prepare key updates in the material Cost Reduction forums (CO@ST / DM Material Reduction) on the status of the projects towards attainment of desired objective

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• 1. BS Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Electonics, Material, Chemical or Computer)
• 2. At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment (an advantage)
