SGS is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, helping companies ensure quality and compliance. The GBS team in the Philippines provides operational support to international affiliates.

As Advisor for Non-Food Compliance, you will guide regulatory adherence, review pack copy and product specifications, and engage clients and suppliers to maintain compliance. You will stay up to date on legislation and industry guidelines while developing tools and training junior staff.

Qualifications

• Technical background with an understanding of test methods technical reports.
• Appreciation of consumer protection legislation.

Responsibilities

• Comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
• Prepare, check, and approve pack copy / product specifications per client and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with clients, suppliers, design agencies, print houses and other stakeholders.
• Provide regulatory advisory services and stay updated on relevant legislation, codes, and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain working instructions; train and cross-train advisory team members.
• Promote SGS interests and ensure continuous improvement within the advisory team.
• Develop technical sign-off checklists and conduct thorough reviews of regulatory work.
• Collaborate to ensure consistency and excellence in regulatory and advisory affairs.
