Job summary

Global Coordination Center in India (Hyderabad preferred) is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer for night shift to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. You will develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests based on requirements and design documents.

You will report defects, collaborate with developers and product managers, and prepare test documentation while participating in Agile development cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, HP ALM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, Postman) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, particularly for collaboration during off-hours shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on software requirements and design documents.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance testing as part of Agile development cycles.
• Report, track, and verify defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Prepare test documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test summary reports.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Utilize automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing) to enhance testing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle, particularly for critical business applications.
• Adapt to working night shifts with effective communication and time management skills.
