Job summary

MedImpact International is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop, implement, and enhance testing strategies for software applications. The role involves designing test plans, executing tests, and tracking defects to ensure high-quality releases.

You will collaborate with developers and product managers, perform manual and automated testing, and contribute to test documentation and reports. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and SQL-based validation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance and software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking using JIRA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA processes.
• Familiarity with relational databases and writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in documenting test cases, defects, and test results.
• Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test reports.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing.
• Collaborate with development to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved.
• Ensure software quality through manual, performance, and regression testing.
• Maintain and update test documentation and test environments.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide proactive feedback.
• Favorable knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
