Job summary

Citco in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst (Functional Manual Tester) for a night shift in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on planning, creating, and executing functional manual tests across agile and waterfall projects.

You will work with multiple stakeholders to define testing strategies and support the automation team while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in functional testing, 1–2 years in agile testing, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 1–2 years' experience in an agile testing role
• 3+ years' experience in a functional testing role
• Strong background in QA processes, SDLC, and methodologies
• Experience with JIRA, Xray, Confluence; ISTQB Foundation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, creation, maintenance, optimization, and execution of functional manual test cases across end-to-end scenarios
• Validate application functionality against business requirements and specifications
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to ensure testability
• Define testing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
• Collaborate with automation and performance teams for test prioritization
• Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
• Produce QA status reports and support the defect lifecycle
• Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Coordinate with Development, Project Management and QA teams
• Communicate progress to QA Lead/Manager and PM
