Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Payroll and Benefits Accountant onsite at Two - Ecom Center, Pasay City, for the night shift. You will post and reconcile payroll-related entries, manage accruals, and support audits and disclosures. A strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and 4–6 years of payroll accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of general or payroll accounting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS (or GAAP) related to compensation, benefits, payroll taxes, retirement plans.
• Ability to perform timely balance sheet reconciliations and meet close deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Post and manage general ledger entries for wage expenses, payroll taxes, benefit expenses, withholdings, and insurance liabilities.
• Reconcile payroll registers to the general ledger for gross wages, employer taxes, and net pay.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for payroll accruals, health plans, retirement funds, and vendor invoices.
• Maintain the payroll accrual calendar to ensure timely calculations in line with close schedules.
• Support internal and external teams with documentation for benefit plans, audits, and disclosures.
