Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Medical Billing & Denials Specialist to join our onsite night shift team in Taguig (BGC). You will manage non-clinical denial resolution throughout the US healthcare revenue cycle, analyze root causes, and prepare appeals to maximize reimbursements.

Responsibilities include reviewing denials, correcting claim errors, following up on appeals, and collaborating with internal teams. A strong eye for detail and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in denial management within the US healthcare revenue cycle.
• Senior High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S. healthcare revenue cycle and medical billing processes.
• Familiarity with CARC/RARC denial codes and relevant claim forms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; CEFR B2 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review denied claims using EOBs, ERAs, and payer portals to identify denial reasons.
• Interpret denial codes (CARC/RARC) and categorize denials by issue type.
• Correct claim errors in demographics, insurance data, provider details, and basic coding validation.
• Prepare and submit non-clinical appeal letters with supporting documentation.
• Monitor appeal status and follow up to secure resolution.
• Manage denied/unpaid claims in A/R via payer follow-up by phone/email/portals.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, QA and other teams to resolve complex denials.
• Maintain documentation, denial tracking, and logs; support process improvements.
