Job summary

The Medical City Ortigas is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer to oversee and assist in the operations of facilities management, including supervising a team and coordinating with third-party service providers. The role requires ensuring repairs, maintenance and safety standards are met across a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree and PRC license, are amenable to shifting schedules, and may have Safety Officer 2 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• PRC license for Mechanical Engineer.
• Amenable to work in shifting schedules.
• Certification of Safety Officer 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and address daily site concerns and issues raised by internal and external customers
• Manage the deployment and daily activities of outsourced facilities' service provider to ensure efficient compliance of the agreed service level agreements
• Oversee projects and construction activities in collaboration with other department and specially during weekend, holidays, and night shift
• Oversee the operations on a 24/7 to ensure all engineering support will be provided to stakeholders on a real time
• Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures and make recommendations on remedial and long term solution works
• Contribute to the design of engineering solutions and supervise feasibility testing implementation
• Manage technical troubleshooting projects, ensuring effective diagnosis of technical issues with equipment and development of effective solutions
