Job summary

The Medical City Ortigas is seeking an experienced Security Specialist to join our team and lead outsourced security personnel and shift operations. You will ensure hospital security procedures, standards, and systems are properly implemented to maintain a safe environment.

The role focuses on supervising security teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory codes, and coordinating preventive maintenance of security systems within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology or an equivalent qualification from military or police service.
• Experience in hospital/clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.
• Monitor and analyze data using budgeting systems and protocols
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines
• Operate complex equipment and machines, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity
• Generate solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies
• Identify instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate

Education

Criminology degree or equivalent military/police qualification
