Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Insurance Verification and Authorization (IV/Auth) Specialist for onsite work in BGC, Taguig City. Night shifts are required; you will verify insurance eligibility, initiate/ follow up on prior authorizations, and coordinate with US providers and patients.

Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance are essential. Role involves medical record review, payer guideline adherence, and timely submission of authorizations to ensure service continuity and accurate

Qualifications

• At least 1 year US healthcare insurance verification and authorization experience.
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and payer portals.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patient services.
• Review documentation to determine authorization requirements.
• Submit and follow up on prior authorizations to meet turnaround times.
• Communicate with payers, providers, and patients to obtain missing documentation.
• Maintain accurate data in the client systems and uphold HIPAA compliance.
