Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring an Insurance Verification and Authorization (IV/Auth) Specialist to support US healthcare clients from our BGC, Taguig site. You will verify eligibility, initiate authorizations, and liaise with providers and patients to ensure timely processing while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires at least 1 year of US healthcare experience, HS diploma, and proficiency with EMR systems like Epic or Cerner.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of US Healthcare insurance verification and authorization experience
• Senior High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with an EMR system (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patient services and review authorization requirements
• Initiate and follow up on prior authorization requests with payers
• Communicate with providers, patients, and clinical teams to obtain required documentation
• Enter and maintain authorization and eligibility data in client systems with accuracy and confidentiality
