Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify food orders from suppliers.
• Prepare ingredients and equipment before lessons, including portioning ingredients.
• Maintain kitchens to ensure high food hygiene and safety standards.
• Check and maintain ingredients, equipment, appliances, utensils, and furniture.
• Conduct inventory and stock-taking of resources.
• Keep the Teacher Preparation Room and Kitchens tidy, orderly, and clean.
• Assist NFS Teachers during culinary sessions, guiding students and ensuring safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by NFS Teachers.

Working hour

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30 am to 3.30pm


• Fridays: 7.30 am to 12.30 pm

Key Roles

• Receive and verify food orders from suppliers


• Prepare ingredients and equipment before lessons, including portioning ingredients


• Maintain both Kitchens to ensure high food hygiene and safety standards


• Check and maintain ingredients, equipment, appliances, utensils, and furniture


• Conduct inventory and stock-taking of resources (e.g., books, equipment, utensils)


• Keep the Teacher Preparation Room and Kitchens tidy, orderly, and clean


• Assist NFS Teachers during culinary sessions, including guiding students and ensuring safety


• Perform other duties as assigned by NFS Teachers

Requirements

• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 Certificate
