Job summary

First Focus AU is seeking a Network Support Technician in the Philippines to support our US-based operations during US business hours. The role emphasizes networking and security, with a preference for Ubiquiti know-how and exposure to major vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki.

You’ll deploy and support network infrastructure across client environments, configure firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks, and collaborate with engineering teams on deployments while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business network environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing and switching.
• Experience configuring and supporting firewalls.
• Ubiquiti experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto, Meraki, WatchGuard or other enterprise networking vendors will also be considered.
• Experience with wireless networking, VPNs and network security.
• Previous MSP experience will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for solving problems.
• Comfortable working late shift to support our US-based operations.

We're looking for a Network Support Technician to join our Philippines team, supporting our US-based parent company during US business hours. Yes, it's a late shift. The upside? You can skip the Manila rush hour, enjoy merienda before work, and when your shift finishes, half the world is still deciding what to order for dinner.

This role is a broad support role that leans towards networking and security. We're particularly interested in someone who knows their way around Ubiquiti, but if you've built and supported environments using Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Meraki, WatchGuard or similar technologies, we'd still love to hear from you.
