Qualifications

• CCNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level support for WAN/LAN, wired/wireless, voice and video conferencing.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on network devices.
• Assist in pre/post implementation testing and hardware acceptance tests.
• Monitor network infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.
• Prepare reports on network performance and utilization.
• Coordinate with teams and service providers for incidents and escalations.
• Communicate outages and initiate escalation when needed.
• Document incident status and ensure SLAs are met.
• Update ITSM tickets and maintain network diagrams and inventory.
• Schedule and coordinate streaming video/web conferencing setups.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer to provide enterprise-level support to internal and external customers. The role is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting network-related hardware and software issues, maintaining optimal network performance, and supporting implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Cisco technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Provide first level support on network-related issues (WAN/LAN, Wired/Wireless, Voice/Web conferencing) requests, and network enhancement projects.
• Perform network device configuration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance semi-annual or as required.
• Provide assistance on network-related activities such as performing pre and post implementation testing, hardware acceptance test, user acceptance test, and during preventive maintenance of network devices.
• Perform network infrastructure monitoring to ensure systems availability and network performance.
• Prepare reports such as network performance monitoring, link utilization, response time, and network availability.
• Generate and provide incident analysis using CISCO ACI, FSO, and DNAC solutions.
• Coordinate with other support team, stakeholders, end users, and other service providers for service request, incident escalation and resolution.
• Communicate network outages / issues and initiate escalation process.
• Prepares Incident Report to document network outages, root cause analysis, & resolution. Escalate issue to Telco Service Provider and other level 2 support team. Monitor, track and report incident status and progress and ensure Service Level Agreement is met.
• Perform network operation tasks such as IT service management ticket update, network monitoring tools, IP Address Management system, network device inventory, network diagram documentation / update, and other network-related operational tasks.
• Manage, perform admin task, and coordinate with end-user on scheduling, testing, and setup for streaming video, and web conferencing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of 4-year IT related course degree
• Obtained at least forty (40) hours technical training related to computer networking within the last 3 years.
• Minimum of one-year relevant work experience in providing first level network support for wired and/or wireless LAN.
• Background in Cisco Network Device Configuration, SD-WAN, Video/Web conferencing, Network Monitoring (e.g. WhatsUp Gold, Cisco Prime Infrastructure) and other IT Service Management Tools
• Trained and knowledgeable in the management and operations of the Cisco ACI, FSO, DNAC solutions
• Must be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
