Strategic Networks Inc. Recruitment is seeking a Network Engineer - Operations Support to maintain and monitor our enterprise network infrastructure in Batangas City, Philippines.

You will ensure high availability, performance, and security across LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, routers, and switches, following ITIL processes and SLAs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP, WLAN, and firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL service management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and connectivity problems.
• Perform configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Support network change, incident, problem, and capacity management processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and network security compliance activities.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management when required.

The role provides operational support for LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls, routers, switches, and network-related services while ensuring compliance with service levels and operational procedures.
