Responsibilities
Request, receive, and manage IP allocations for client-managed devices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to defined IP management processes.
Develop, review, and implement Methods of Procedures (MOPs) for device and box configurations to support consistent and controlled execution of network changes.
Apply network configurations derived from client-provided design models, templates, and standards.
Validate network connectivity and service availability for newly deployed devices, ensuring proper integration into existing network infrastructure.
Verify that newly configured network equipment meets client-defined success criteria, including performance, security, and operational readiness.
Work with underlay and overlay controllers to create networks, produce network models, and support automated or orchestrated network deployments.
Partner with application teams, infrastructure groups, and project stakeholders to engineer scalable network solutions and support system integrations.
Collaborate with deployment and migration teams to ensure successful network builds, migrations, and cutover activities.
Utilize network automation platforms and tools to streamline configuration deployment and reduce operational errors.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve network processes, enhance automation usage, and support overall network reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, IP addressing, and network security fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with Cisco devices, network controllers, SDN technologies, or automated provisioning systems is preferred.
