Job summary

NLEX Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and security.

You will lead complex network projects, mentor staff, manage vendors, and drive incident resolution and disaster recovery planning. The role requires 5–10+ years in networking and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS.
• Experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)
• Strong understanding of network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, hybrid).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architecture (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN).
• Lead network planning, capacity management, and performance optimization.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, zero-trust).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (L3 support).
• Oversee network monitoring tools and ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Automate network tasks using scripting and network automation tools.
• Lead disaster recovery and failover strategies for network resilience.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and SLAs.
• Mentor junior staff and lead network-related projects.
