Job summary

Newtimes Group of Companies is seeking a technically strong NetSuite professional to own scripting and the integration layer. You will join a team including a dedicated functional administrator who handles BAU NetSuite ops, while you focus on code, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scalable solutions across both BAU and project work.

You will be responsible for BAU monitoring of SuiteScripts, integrations, and workflows, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing preventative fixes.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on NetSuite experience with a developer or technical administration focus.
• Deep SuiteScript 2.x expertise across all script types: scheduled, user event, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, and Suitelet.
• Proven experience building and supporting integrations using platforms such as Boomi (a plus), Celigo, Workato, or similar.
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, flat file, and/or EDI.
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite REST and SOAP APIs (SuiteTalk, RESTlets).
• Familiarity with SuiteFlow (workflow automation) and SuiteAnalytics (saved searches, workbooks, and reporting).
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills — able to trace a failure from symptom to source quickly.
• Familiarity with SuiteCloud CLI / SDF and version control practices for NetSuite deployments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of SuiteScripts, integrations, and automated workflows in production.
• Investigate and resolve script errors, integration failures, and workflow exceptions with root cause analysis.
• Maintain error alerting, logging, and runbook documentation for all production scripts and integrations.
• Review NetSuite quarterly releases for impact to scripts and integrations and manage remediations.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for issues crossing from configuration to code.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x customizations (scheduled, user event, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet).
• Build and maintain integrations using Boomi and other platforms across modules.
