We are looking for a senior, hands‑on integration engineer and architect to own the systems and data connected to NetSuite. You’ll be supporting a US-based distribution client, working out of our Makati office on a night shift schedule. You will work side by side with implementation partners on design, build, testing, conversion, and cutover, then take long‑term ownership of the integration and data environment after the consultants leave.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain the enterprise integration architecture across APIs, EDI, webhooks, SFTP, files, native connectors, events, and batch processing
- Define source and target systems, data boundaries, field mappings, sequencing, validation, error handling, retry, and reconciliation for each interface
- Build, test, deploy, and support integrations between NetSuite and internal and external systems
- Use NetSuite capabilities such as REST web services, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, SuiteScript, and SuiteQL, ensuring interfaces produce valid operational and accounting results
- Support EDI and API connectivity with customers, distributors, vendors, logistics providers, and marketplaces for purchase orders, ASNs, invoices, inventory, pricing, and order status
- Build repeatable onboarding patterns that speed up connecting new customers, vendors, and acquisitions
- Help define the enterprise data architecture, including authoritative sources, data ownership, quality rules, and governed pipelines
- Inspect legacy applications, databases, scripts, and jobs to uncover embedded business rules before they are replaced
- Lead data extraction, transformation, cleansing, conversion, and reconciliation with control totals that protect financial and operational integrity
- Support analytics architecture, including NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and Power BI, so reporting reconciles to source transactions
- Develop and run unit, integration, end‑to‑end, cutover, and reconciliation testing
- Implement logging, alerts, exception queues, and dashboards, and handle hands‑on production troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis
- Set standards for source control, code review, deployment, versioning, rollback, documentation, and change control
- Challenge partner‑proposed designs, retain the technical knowledge built during the program, and reduce dependence on external consultants
What You Bring
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical field
- Meaningful hands‑on experience integrating with NetSuite (records, transactions, permissions, APIs, or scripting)
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP services, JSON, XML, SQL, SFTP, webhooks, and authentication
- Experience designing, building, deploying, monitoring, and supporting production integrations and data pipelines
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, migration, reconciliation, master data, and data‑quality controls
- Practical understanding of order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, inventory, fulfillment, and general‑ledger impacts in a distribution environment
- Experience with API security, token‑based authentication, source control, testing, and environment management
- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills across applications, data, security, and business processes
- Confidence to evaluate and challenge consultant recommendations and own the resulting design
- Strong written communication and willingness to stay hands‑on through implementation and beyond
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, NetSuite Integration Platform, SuiteAnalytics Connect, or NetSuite Analytics Warehouse is a plus but not required
- EDI and partner onboarding experience in food distribution, wholesale, retail, logistics, or another high‑transaction industry is a plus but not required
- Experience modernizing Microsoft Dynamics GP or custom legacy applications is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX, Power BI, cloud data platforms, or workflow automation is a plus but not required
- Experience with multi‑entity environments, acquisition integration, or high‑volume order and inventory flows is a plus but not required
