About the role
The Technical Lead is responsible for the technical delivery and quality of customer engagements. The role provides day-to-day technical leadership to consulting teams, ensures solutions are implemented according to approved architectures and standards, and resolves complex technical issues to achieve successful customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the technical delivery of customer projects and engagements.
- Direct consultants and engineers, allocate technical tasks, and ensure delivery meets quality and timeline requirements.
- Implement, configure, integrate, and deploy solutions in line with approved architectures and best practices.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and operationally ready.
- Conduct technical reviews, quality assurance, and validation of deliverables and production deployments.
- Provide technical coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to consultants and engineers.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during project delivery and facilitate technical workshops.
- Identify and resolve technical risks, issues, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
- Lead deployments, cutovers, go-lives, and transition to operational/support teams.
- Contribute to technical standards, documentation, automation, reusable assets, and continuous improvement.
About you
- 7+ years in software engineering, systems integration, or cloud development.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead-consultant role.
- Expertise in enterprise integration patterns, microservices, distributed systems, and domain-driven design.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, event streaming, and cloud integration services.
- Strong application development capabilities (.NET, C#, Node, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cloud compute, cloud storage, IaC (e.g., Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
- Proficiency with runtime models, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL datastores, ORM, CQRS, and software design patterns (structural, behavioural, and creational).
- Strong experience in test automation and test strategy (BDD, automated regression, integration testing).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong written and verbal communication.
