JPMorgan Chase in Manila is seeking a Fund Accountant to own NAV calculations and fund financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds. You will ensure books and records are accurate, complete, and supported by clear documentation and controls.

You will partner with internal teams to investigate exceptions, resolve issues, and deliver timely insights, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and process discipline.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related discipline.
• Experience producing NAV calculations or fund financial statements in a controlled environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce well-documented outputs under deadline.
• Proven reconciliation and break-resolution skills (positions, cash, pricing, income, expenses, trades).
• Strong analytical skills to investigate exceptions and identify root causes.
• Client-focused mindset with clear written and spoken English communication.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications (spreadsheets, email, documentation tools).
• Control-oriented approach with checklist-based work and sign-offs.
• Ability to work in a shift-based schedule aligned to business needs.

Aufgaben

• Produce daily/month-end NAV calculations and fund accounting outputs within service timelines.
• Maintain accurate accounting books and securities records, including positions, pricing, income, expenses and trades.
• Perform position and cash reconciliations and investigate breaks within tolerances.
• Validate valuations, price movements and performance drivers for end valuations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting and securities exceptions; escalate risks when needed.
• Prepare and maintain workpapers and supporting evidence for unusual items and key judgments.
• Reconcile capital flows and forward FX contracts to portfolios as applicable.
• Respond to routine and ad hoc client inquiries with clear data explanations.
• Document procedures, identify control gaps, and propose process improvements.
• Support team by training new hires and peers.
