Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to lead NAV calculations for a portfolio of hedge funds and supervise junior staff. You will prepare financial statements, ensure timely deliverables, and work with investors and fund participants to meet client expectations.

The role emphasizes strong accounting knowledge, supervisory experience, and excellent communication within a global asset servicing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/or hedge fund industry is an advantage
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing staff for 3+ years
• Strong business acumen and strong financial/accounting/analytical skills
• Good client/business relationship management and strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds and supervise staff within an Account
• Perform the administration of and services pursuant to administration agreements for hedge funds
• Prepare Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and reports for larger clients within deadlines
• Supervise staff and review work within the Account
• Collaborate with senior fund accountants to manage timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate year-end processes with respect to audits and regulatory filings
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, advisors, banks, brokers, and auditors
• Coordinate with other departments within Citco as required
