Job summary

Sourcefit Philippines, Inc. is seeking a National Material Quantity Surveyor to analyze construction plans and prepare detailed material quantity takeoffs for flooring and related materials. The role supports sales and project teams, ensuring accurate takeoffs and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying or related field.
• Experience in material quantity takeoffs is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, especially U.S.-based plans.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in estimates.
• Proficiency with imperial measurements.
• Experience with MS Office and estimating software is a plus (training provided).
• Excellent verbal and written communication for RFIs and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyze plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for design stages.
• Ensure all required materials are accounted for, including flooring, trims, transitions, and related components.
• Create comprehensive material quantity estimates for flooring and related materials to fulfill bid package requirements.
• Draft and submit project-specific RFIs for review by sales teams, architects, or general contractors.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide optimization suggestions to project teams.
• Review own work for accuracy and participate in a two-level review process with local and U.S.-based leads.
• Follow National Estimating Standards and company guidelines; document and manage projects consistently.
• Collaborate with Team Lead for feedback and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
