Job summary

Melters Steel Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and maintain M1 Tower in Makati or M3 Corporate Center in Taguig. The role requires performing preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression systems, and elevators, while responding to tenant repair requests.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, hands-on maintenance experience, and an updated NC II certification.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with general maintenance tasks.
• Updated NC II certification.

Responsibilities

• Directly report to the Building/Property Engineer and be on-call whenever a need for support arises.
• Perform routinely on-stream inspection or condition monitoring of rotating machineries and equipment including controls, electrical apparatuses and related electrical facilities.
• Report all abnormalities to the building/property engineer and implement immediate action as per instruction.
• Determine areas for improvement necessary for the attainment of the main objective to keep all machineries and equipment in top condition, reliable at any given time.
• Be on service whenever a technical person is needed during Vermillion Events.
• Handle and coordinate with other MST their schedule of work in coordination with Building Engineer.
• Inspect quality of work of fellow MST ensuring all task given is completed correctly and on-time.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems, elevators.
• Respond to repair requests from tenants in a timely and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.

About the role
