Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician (MST) to join our Pasay City team.

The role focuses on maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring safety and optimal operation. The candidate will read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and respond to emergency service calls.

Formación

• Certification or diploma in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience as Electro-Mechanical Technician or similar role in trades/services.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems across client sites.
• Diagnose faults using testing equipment and implement corrective solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide work.

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician (MST) to join our growing team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems across our diverse client portfolio. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of complex equipment and systems, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and operational excellence of our service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems including motors, generators, control panels, and related equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using testing equipment and technical knowledge, and implement corrective solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance and longevity
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair work
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety standards and operational requirements
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems to minimise downtime and maintain service continuity
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company protocols
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations whilst performing duties
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide rapid response technical support when required

What we're looking for

• Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or similar role in the trades and services industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuit analysis, and mechanical systems operation
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeter, and oscilloscopes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical blueprints accurately
• Sound understanding of safety protocols, building codes, and electrical standards applicable in the Philippines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical fitness to perform hands-on technical work
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
• Preferred: Experience with PLC systems, industrial automation, or HVAC systems
