Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. This role is part of Engineering and Technical Services, delivering support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

You will conduct routine inspections, assist with installation and modification, review work orders, support energy management, and ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Knowledge of building systems and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Work with available systems to manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Report violations to Management.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
