Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. This on-site role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting operations across facilities.

You will conduct inspections, diagnose issues, assist with installations, review work orders, and help ensure energy efficiency while complying with building codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must meet the physical requirements of this role including lifting 50 lbs+.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials; track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations; report violations.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision.
