Job summary

PHC is seeking a Safety and Security Officer to oversee comprehensive safety, security, and protection across multiple sites in Metro Manila. The role requires enforcing protocols, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating on-call emergency responses 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in safety/security management, relevant DOLE/SOSIA CSP certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in Public Safety.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and security management.
• Certified Safety Officer 2 by DOLE and licensed Security Practitioner by SOSIA.
• Certified Security Professional (CSP) or equivalent security certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily safety & security operations across PHC sites.
• Enforces safety and security policies to protect company interests.
• Identifies risks, conducts risk assessments, implements mitigation measures.
• Investigates breaches, thefts, accidents, and incidents with detailed reports.
• Provides safety awareness training and promotes a security culture.
• Collaborates with departments, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Conducts inspections and audits to prevent non-conformances and improve safety.
• Leads Emergency Response Team for medical, fire, and security incidents.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
