Job summary

Microgenesis Business Systems in the Philippines seeks a Network Operations Support professional to handle escalated issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and provide onsite assistance to branches and offsite ATMs.

You will monitor network performance, document configurations, support SD‑WAN and firewall deployments, coordinate with the IT team, and participate in 24/7/shift operations including night shifts and site visits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in network operations or network support.
• Experience handling escalated service desk issues.
• Basic to intermediate troubleshooting including firewall and SD-WAN installation and support.
• Experience monitoring network performance and daily health checks in an ITIL-aligned environment.
• Ability to provide onsite support to branch locations and offsite ATMs, including installation, troubleshooting, repairs, emergency response, and scheduled maintenance visits.
• Strong documentation, shift handover reporting, and vendor coordination with internal IT teams—preferably in banking or enterprise network environments.
• Exposure to network security controls, 24x7 or shift-based operations, and SLA-driven support is highly preferred.
• Network and firewall certifications are a plus; Huawei certification is an advantage.
• Willing to take night shift schedule and do site visits as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated issues from the service desk.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Assist with the configuration and deployment of network devices.
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
• Provide support for daily routine health checks of firewall and SD-WAN connectivity.
• Document all network configurations and changes.
• Assist in the implementation of network security measures.
• Conduct initial analysis of network incidents and escalate as needed.
• Support end users with network-related issues.
• Provide onsite support for firewall and SD-WAN devices at store locations and offsite ATMs.
• Schedule regular maintenance visits to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to onsite support requests.
• Perform troubleshooting for firewall and SD-WAN devices.
• Coordinate with the IT team on complex issues requiring onsite intervention.
• Document onsite support activities and resolutions.
• Maintain a stock of spare parts and replacement devices for quick resolution.
• Provide emergency onsite support for critical issues at the head office and branch locations.
