Compensation: $90-110/hr Based on qualifications, experience, and final contract pricing.

Scope of Work / Tasks

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Software Developer for a long-term contract opportunity supporting the modernization of enterprise business and regulatory capabilities within a Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

The successful consultant will act as a senior Microsoft 365 solution advisor, developer, and implementor, helping organizations identify the right Microsoft technologies for business needs and then design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support sustainable solutions.

The role will involve working with technologies including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, Azure, and related Microsoft development tools.

• Analyze business problems, opportunities, user needs, and desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-impact business processes.
• Assess the appropriate level of structure, automation, scale, and reporting required for a solution.
• Identify data ownership, stewardship, integrity, migration, integration, and information requirements.
• Assess how data should flow between Microsoft applications and services.
• Evaluate available Microsoft 365 capabilities and identify viable solution options.

Mandatory Qualifications

M1

Minimum ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years performing the required solution design, development, implementation, and knowledge-transfer activities within a Microsoft ecosystem.

Experience must include:

• Understanding business goals, users, and business problems.
• Identifying impacted business processes.
• Assessing structure, automation, scale, and reporting requirements.
• Identifying data ownership, stewardship, integrity, migration, and integration requirements.
• Mapping business goals to Microsoft capabilities.

Minimum five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years developing solutions using each of the following:

• Microsoft Planner functionality using the Planner API.
• Microsoft SharePoint using Microsoft Graph API, including Drive, List, and Site capabilities.
• Microsoft Teams using Microsoft Graph API.
• Microsoft Power Automate Cloud flows using standard and custom Microsoft connectors for automation and orchestration.

Security & Work Location

The successful consultant must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain the required Government of Canada Secret security clearance.

Although the position can support telework within Canada, the specific work location may vary by Task Authorization and the classification of information being accessed. Work may be performed onsite in the National Capital Region or remotely from within Canada's geographical boundaries, subject to security requirements.
