Qualifications

Graduate of a 4 year business course.
Experience as a claims processor/adjuster in insurance.
Knowledge of motor insurance products and claim procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing multiple claims.
Proficiency in using claims processing software.

Responsibilities

Receive, review and validate motor insurance claims with complete documentation.
Assess eligibility against policy terms, conditions and coverage limits.
Investigate claims by liaising with claimants, witnesses, and service providers.
Determine liability and approve/reject claims per policy provisions.
Process payments and issue settlement letters promptly.
Maintain accurate records of all claims and correspondence.
Communicate with stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
Identify and flag potentially fraudulent claims for further review.
Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.
Provide regular updates to claimants regarding claim status.
