Job summary

KMC Solutions in Makati, Philippines seeks an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, and forecasting support while partnering with the Sydney Finance Team. The role covers AP/AR, reconciliations, and system improvements to drive efficiency.

You will work on month-end reporting, balance sheets, and assist with year-end audits, ensuring accuracy and timely financial insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of total experience in general accounting, including payroll and AR/AP management.
• Strong background in AU or NZ payroll and accounting standards; US standards a plus.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP/accounting systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and depreciation; produce P&L and Balance Sheet statements.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist external accountants with year-end statements and tax returns.
• Provide insights on financial performance, cost trends, and profitability; support process improvements.
• Support ad hoc reporting, maintain data accuracy in accounting systems, and assist with administration.
