Job summary

TE Connectivity in Tanauan, CALABARZON, Philippines, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to drive plating process development, productivity, and ISO documentation. You will lead NPI initiatives, coordinate with teams, and implement TEOA culture on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Industrial or Chemical Engineering with 1–3 years in semiconductor plating, PFMEA/Control Plan, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics plating processes.
• Knowledgeable in PFMEA and Control Plan – Plating Process Control.
• Experience in reel-to-reel plating is an advantage.
• Involvement or experience in cost-down activities and process improvement projects is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in drawing interpretation.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Plating Process (new and old tools) qualification and trial.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Participates and engages in product development, DFMEA / PFMEA.
• Works with Global COE Assembly to drive continuous improvement in Plating Technology / Process.
• Maintains proper documentation for all plating tooling, spares, and plating process setup sheets.
• Imparts training and development for new joiners, technical trainees, etc.
• Coordinates with inter-department and assists with investigations of rejected products and the development of corrective actions.
• Drives TEOA culture on the shop floor.
• Coordinates with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement.
• Assesses resource requirements and opportunities for automation and process productivity improvement.
• Reviews TEOA deployment.
