Job summary

TE Connectivity in Batangas is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Engineering leader to supervise production, engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and adherence to corporate policies.

The role focuses on EHS management, people leadership, lean production, budget control and cross-functional collaboration to deliver consistent, high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or engineering is required.
• At least 10 years of work experience, including 5+ years in people management and 5 years in molding manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee production, engineering, and maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Lead and develop direct reports, provide timely performance feedback, and retain key talent.
• Check and update department policies, monitor policy execution to stay aligned with standards.
• Use lean concepts to supervise production and resolve critical issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and lead Lean Improvement tools in the plant.
• Control department expenses and participate in Capex planning.

Job description

Supervise and oversee production, engineering, and maintenance activities, and cooperate with cross function deparment with the objective of ensuring production efficiency & safety and meeting internal/external requirements within corporate policies and the direction from high-level management.

AREAS OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EHS

• Update and sustain the department EHS management system and operational procedures, and ensure the effective implementation.


• Take full responsibility to ensure EHS work in the department meets relevant requirements;


• Set departmental and individual EHS performance targets according to laws and regulations and requirements of the company, and check and evaluate the completion of the targets regularly;


• Do LPA regularly to eliminate all kinds of unsafe factors and prevent accidents.

People Management

• Allocate and balance work across direct reports;


• Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports;


• Mentor, develop, and motivate them;


• Help resolve people/functional issues in the team;


• Submit manpower applications and interview candidates in order to achieve targeted department performance and retain key talent.

Procedure & Policy

• Check the department policies and initiate policy changes, prepare related materials and follow up, and monitor the policy execution in order to ensure the procedures and policies are in line with corporate standards.

Production

• Use lean concepts to supervise and monitor the production activities and processes;


• Lead to solve critical production issues;


• Cooperate with other functions within the molding department and other departments in getting necessary support in order to ensure normal day-to-day production.

Expense control

• Control department expenses in order to control it within budget.

• Lead Lean Improvement Tools implementation in the plant
