Job summary
John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mold Tooling Assistant Section Manager to oversee plastic injection mold tooling operations.
The role focuses on tooling performance, mold quality, production efficiency, and continuous improvement while guiding the tooling team. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in plastic injection molds, preferably within automotive or electronics manufacturing, and will collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Plastic Injection Mold Tooling, preferably automotive/electronics.
- Strong knowledge of mold construction, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret mold drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mold tooling management, maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, and repair activities.
- Monitor mold performance and ensure optimal condition to support production.
- Provide technical guidance during mold testing, startup, and production runs.
- Assist the Section Manager by supervising tooling personnel and coordinating with external mold makers and suppliers.
