TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mold Design and Process Development engineer to drive advanced molding solutions.

The role focuses on process development, tooling design, and qualification, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency. You will apply Mold Flow, FMEA, and DOE tools, contribute to design for manufacturability, and lead problem-solving from development through production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
5+ years of mold design, process, and troubleshooting experience.
Strong knowledge of tool fabrication, tool-steel selection, heat treating, and plating/coating.
Strong knowledge of injection molding processes (injection, insert-molding, two-shot).
Strong understanding of plastics, injection molding machinery, and auxiliary equipment.
Familiar with mold flow simulation and analysis.

Responsabilités

Develop production improvements; propose cost-saving enhancements.
Evaluate unfinished products and recommend quality improvements.
Design and evaluate plans for manufacturing equipment, technology and resources to meet goals.
Lead process development and documentation (DFM, FMEA, DOE).
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to launch products on time.
