Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corp. (FELCO) in Ermita, Manila, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer (Mobile). You will own mobile features and work across the full SDLC to deliver secure, performant applications.

The role requires 1–3 years in mobile development and hands-on experience with native or cross‑platform frameworks such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Flutter or React Native. Collaboration with product and QA is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of progressive mobile development experience in a professional team.
• Strong proficiency in mobile development platforms/frameworks (Swift/Kotlin/Java, Flutter, or React Native).
• Solid knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, native device APIs (camera, location, notifications), and robust state management.
• Certifications focusing on advanced mobile frameworks or cloud platforms are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Design, develop, and own moderately complex mobile features and integrate with backend APIs and native functionalities.
• Bug Fixing & Enhancements: Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex issues; lead significant performance/stability improvements.
• Testing & Documentation: Create and execute unit/integration/end-to-end tests; contribute to technical design docs.
• Technical Notes & Task Logging: Prepare design documents and architecture diagrams; share knowledge.
• Requirement Clarification: Translate business requirements into technical specs with stakeholders.
