East West Banking Corporation in Makati is seeking a Senior Manager to lead ML Operations within the Digital Products and Channels team. Hybrid work arrangement and a focus on end-to-end ML lifecycle management are expected.

The role emphasizes designing scalable MLOps pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and governance across the organization, collaborating with data science, engineering, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable workflows that support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or ML infrastructure, with a minimum of 3 years in an MLOps-focused role.
• Strong expertise in MLOps tools, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization technologies, and CI/CD frameworks supporting ML deployment.
• Proficiency in Git, model versioning, automated data and model pipelines, and end-to-end ML lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines to support CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to transition models from development and testing to production environments.
• Implement automated monitoring, logging, and performance tracking frameworks to ensure model reliability and effectiveness.
• Establish and enforce best practices for model versioning, reproducibility, and end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management.
• Manage model governance, access controls, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead initiatives focused on model performance optimization, drift detection, and automated retraining for long-term accuracy and stability.
