Job summary

Sumitomo Electric is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager in the Philippines to lead and maintain enterprise networks in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires 5–8+ years in IT infrastructure with supervision experience, strong TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing/Switching, and security skills, plus vendor management and business continuity planning.

You will coordinate with ISPs, monitor performance, manage AD, DNS, DHCP, and data center operations, and develop project plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or production-critical setting.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing/Switching, Firewall, VPN and wireless networking.
• Experience in vendor/contract management and risk management.
• Ability to plan, budget, and manage projects.
• Proficiency with AD, DNS, DHCP, file and application servers, authentication infrastructure.
• Data center availability, environmental controls, power protection, and physical security.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field
• 5–8+ years of IT infrastructure experience. At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Experience supporting a 24/7 or production-critical environment is an advantage.
• Understand network TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing/Switching, Firewall, VPN wireless networking, windows servers active directory, DHCP, virtualization. Strategic IT infrastructure, Problem -solving and analytical thinking, vendor and contract management, risk management, ability to work under production-critical condition understanding in business continuity planning.
