Job summary

La Filipina Uy Gongco Group of Companies is seeking a Miller to oversee milling from raw wheat to finished product and to monitor tempering, milling, storing, packing, and related activities. You will ensure compliance with PFMC quality and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical or electrical engineering degree (licensed preferred) with 2+ years in manufacturing and 1 year in flour milling, and must be willing to work shifts, including night shift, and be assigned to Iloilo

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (2+ years) and flour milling (1+ year) is preferred.
• Knowledge of flour manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Willingness to work in shifts including night shift.

Responsibilities

• Milling wheat from raw materials to finished product.
• Conduct mill monitoring activities including tempering/conditioning, milling, storing, finished product checking, and packing.
• Ensure compliance with PFMC quality and food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Job description

The Miller is responsible for milling wheat from raw materials up to finished product and conduct mill monitoring activities which involves tempering/conditioning, milling, storing, finished product checking, packing and other activities related to milling operations in compliance with PFMC quality, food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a flour mill preferred
• Knowledge of flour manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance preferred
• Ability to operate various types of machinery and heavy equipment preferred
• Amendable to work in a shifting schedule including night shift
• Candidate is willing to be assigned in Iloilo and Manila.
