Job summary

Nityo Infotech Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled Middleware Engineer to design, implement, and support middleware across Linux and AIX environments in Taguig City.

The role focuses on reliability, deployment, and migrations of enterprise middleware components. You'll work with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Control-M, and MOVEit, providing support for Development, Test, and Production environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Middleware Administration or Middleware Engineering.
• Hands-on Linux and/or AIX platforms experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise middleware technologies and environments.
• Strong understanding of software installation, configuration, upgrades, deployment, and migration.
• Experience supporting Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, configure, upgrade, and support middleware on Linux and/or AIX.
• Administer middleware such as Oracle WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, Oracle Traffic Director, Tomcat, JBoss, Control-M, MOVEit.
• Install software packages, perform upgrades and patches.
• Provide technical support for Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Support releases and deployments into Test environments; prepare container build scripts.
• Contribute to middleware architecture, standards, and low-level designs (LLD).
• Identify and resolve issues affecting availability and performance.
• Define VM and server build requirements; support migrations to newer versions.
• Collaborate with application teams on migration/integration; coordinate connectivity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures; provide estimates for projects.

We are looking for a skilled Middleware Engineer responsible for developing, building, implementing, and supporting middleware technologies across Linux and/or AIX platforms. The role will support Development, Test, and Production environments while ensuring reliable middleware operations, application deployments, infrastructure migrations, and integration.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Control-M, MOVEit, and related enterprise middleware technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, build, install, configure, upgrade, and support middleware technologies running on Linux and/or AIX platforms.

• Administer and support middleware technologies such as:

  • Oracle WebLogic

  • Oracle Fusion Middleware

  • Oracle Traffic Director

  • Apache Tomcat

  • JBoss

  • Control-M

  • MOVEit

• Perform installation of software and binary packages, middleware upgrades, patches, and related maintenance activities.

• Provide technical support for Development, Test, and Production environments.

• Support application releases and deployments into Test environments, including preparation and delivery of container build scripts.

• Provide technical input into middleware architecture, design standards, and low-level designs (LLD).

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues affecting system availability, application performance, and customer service.

• Define and provide VM and server build requirements based on application and middleware requirements.

• Support middleware infrastructure migration to newer versions and platforms.

• Work closely with application development teams to support application migration and integration activities.

• Liaise with application teams regarding WebLogic code of connection, middleware integration, and connectivity issues.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, procedures, and middleware standards.

• Provide technical estimates and inputs for project builds, implementation activities, and infrastructure requirements.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, development, and operations teams to ensure successful middleware implementations.

• Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of middleware environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Middleware Administration, Middleware Engineering, Application Infrastructure, or a similar role.

• Hands‑on experience working with Linux and/or AIX platforms.

• Experience supporting enterprise middleware technologies and application environments.

• Strong understanding of software installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, deployment, and migration.

• Experience supporting Development, Test, and Production environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of application-to-middleware integration and connectivity.

• Ability to work effectively with application development, infrastructure, and operations teams.

• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
