Michael Page is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to help shape mobility tech in the Philippines. You will build scalable backend services using Go or Java, design microservices and REST APIs, and drive data-driven improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years backend experience building scalable, production-grade software systems.
• Expert in Go (Golang) or Java with strong software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, and database optimization, including concurrency and persistence design.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments focused on scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Ability to lead technical projects, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
