Boomering inc in the Philippines is seeking a Microvellum Drafter/CNC Programmer to support an Australian joinery manufacturer across multiple states. You will create programs for in-house CNC machines, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and collaborate with CNC operators and production teams on varied commercial joinery projects.

Join us as a Microvellum Drafter/ CNC Programmer, supporting an established Australian commercial fit-out and joinery manufacturer delivering across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Our client operates joinery factories in Carrara QLD and Smeaton Grange NSW and manufactures its own joinery, so the programs you prepare go directly onto its own CNC machines. You'll play a key role in keeping production accurate and efficient across varied custom commercial joinery projects for hospitality, retail, office, medical and education clients.
Build jobs in Microvellum from approved shop drawings only, checking the correct revision before starting.
Nest, optimise and post programs to Biesse Rover K, Biesse Klever 1836 and Masterwood Winner 1228KS machines.
Maintain tool files, tooling patterns, boring routines and hardware routines as equipment and production requirements change.
Release cutting lists, parts labels and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
Record sheets, square metres and labels on the monday.com Factory board.
Work closely with CNC operators to identify faults and correct issues at the source.
Apply practical knowledge of router tooling, drill blocks, feeds, speeds and post processors to produce accurate, production-ready programs.
Production experience in Microvellum, or strong experience in Cabinet Vision, Pytha or imos with the capability and willingness to transition to Microvellum.
Hands-on CNC programming experience for nesting and point-to-point machines.
Working knowledge of router tooling, including compression, down-shear, V and skim cutters, as well as drill blocks, feeds, speeds and post processors.
Experience with Biesse, SCM, Homag, Masterwood or similar CNC equipment.
Sound cabinet-making knowledge, including the 32mm system, hardware, grain direction and construction.
A cabinet-making or related trade background is highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with CNC operators and production teams.
Stable, long-term full-time role supporting an established Australian commercial fit-out and joinery manufacturer.
Exposure to varied custom commercial joinery across hospitality, retail, office, medical and education projects rather than repetitive kitchen work.
