Job summary
Boomering inc in the Philippines is seeking a Microvellum Drafter/CNC Programmer to support an Australian joinery manufacturer across multiple states. You will create programs for in-house CNC machines, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and collaborate with CNC operators and production teams on varied commercial joinery projects.
The role emphasizes hands-on nesting, post-processing, and tool management, with opportunities to influence factory programming and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microvellum or cabinet software is required or ability to transition quickly.
- Hands-on CNC programming for nesting and point-to-point machines.
- Knowledge of router tooling and post processors for production programs.
- Experience with CNC equipment such as Biesse, SCM, Homag or similar.
- Strong cabinet-making knowledge including 32mm system and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Build jobs in Microvellum from approved drawings and check revisions.
- Nest, optimise and post programs to specified CNC machines.
- Maintain tool files and production tooling routines as required.
- Release cutting lists, labels and assembly drawings for production.
- Record production metrics on the factory board.
- Collaborate with CNC operators to identify and fix faults at the source.
- Apply tooling knowledge to produce accurate, production-ready programs.
