Job summary

Xurpas, Inc. in Mandaluyong, Philippines, seeks an experienced BI Platform Administrator to configure, install, operate, upgrade, monitor, and support BI infrastructure and related platforms.

You will also drive service delivery across these platforms. You will review deployments, monitor performance trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent incidents, ensure availability, and optimize BI tooling including Qlik, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant BI experience.
• Experience managing BI platforms including Qlik, MicroStrategy, Business Objects and Power BI.
• Perform deployments, job scheduling, monitoring platforms.
• Experience with Linux/Windows OS on-premises and AWS.

Configure, install, administer, operate, upgrade, monitor, sustain, and support existing business intelligence platforms and other related infrastructure. You will also be responsible for service delivery across these platforms.

Requirements

• Typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience
• Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in business intelligence tools. It is preferred to have experience managing Business Intelligence platforms including Qlik, MicroStrategy, Business Objects and Power BI.
• Perform deployments, job scheduling, monitoring platforms.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, Terraform, Ansible and other deployment software is preferred
• Participate in an On-Call rotation
• A solid understanding of the broader technology portfolio
• Experience managing services running on both Linux and Windows Operating Systems on-premises and in AWS
• Stays abreast of industry trends and technologiesMaintains root cause analysis skills for investigation of incidents impacting technology availability
• Reviews capacity utilization for trends and raises awareness across teams to address areas of excess and shortages
• Administers processes and procedures related to code management
• Engages various teams to evaluate and implement performance tuning recommendations
