Studio West Philippines, Inc. seeks a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to streamline processes and automate workflows across departments. You will leverage Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI to deliver data-driven insights and scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and applying best practices in automation. A hybrid work setup and exposure to US-based projects are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field
• At least three years of direct experience in process automation
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate)
• Competent knowledge in MS Excel with VBA, including macros and API integration
• Experience with automation technologies (RPA, AI, ML)
• Microsoft Certifications are a plus (PL-300, PL-400, PL-900)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

GENERALPURPOSE

A catalyst role for strategic growth and operational excellence at Studio West Philippines, Inc. By leveraging data-driven insights and innovative technologies, this role will streamline processes, optimize resources and enhance decision-making capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIESANDDUTIES:

Process Automation & Optimization:

• Assist in the development, implementation and adoption of automation solutions using Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform tools, (e.g., Power Automate, Power App, Power BI) and other APIs (Application Programming Interface) to streamline departmental processes and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and business value.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design automation workflows.

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate and Power Apps) to develop creative solutions that address business challenges.
• Learn and apply best practices in data analytics and automation.
• Receive training and mentorship from senior team members.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new technologies and best practices in data analytics and automation.

Data Analytics & Reporting:

• Leverage data analytics and reporting to enhance software development processes, including:

1. Data-driven development: Utilize data insights to inform design decisions, feature prioritization, and performance optimization.
2. Debugging and troubleshooting: Analyze data to identify and resolve software issues efficiently.
3. Product improvement: Gather and analyze user data to identify areas for improvement and inform future development efforts.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational goals.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics, automation, and AI.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or any related field
• At least three (3) years of direct experience in process automation
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate)
• Competent knowledge in MS Excel (with VBA knowledge), including basic knowledge of VBA macros. Able to automate repetitive tasks, create custom functions, and integrate with external APIs.
• Knowledge of automation technologies (e.g., Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML))
• Microsoft Certifications a plus (PL-300, PL-400, PL-900)
• Sample portfolio of automation projects (via Power Apps)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
